Our founder, Malcolm Flowers, spent 13 years in Franchising. He owned and operated 3 Cheesecake shops through a period including the GFC and a major brand refresh that hit the franchisees like 2 category 5 cyclones in a row. Malcolm had a choice to justifiably blame the economy, the franchisor, his staff, increased stress levels, debt levels and every other excuse in the book. Instead, he learnt the power of digging deep, finding accountability, accepting and embracing coaching support, believing in people again and being committed to discovering what were his positive drivers to see his own growth as a leader and then his business growth moving forward.

We have taken the best strategies and insights from the most successful entrepreneurs, psychologists and life coaches, and distilled them into simple principles and actionable tasks that can be done throughout your normal day. In the Business-Builders Arena, you not only learn to implement habits, techniques and life-hacks into your life and business, but you also undertake a journey towards inner freedom, reconnecting with your purpose to rediscover your fuel for life.

The Arena is a mobile-friendly online platform open to any business-builders. Participants begin as a cohort, interacting within the Arena and forming a bonded peer group. Throughout the program the cohort will also meet in-person at scheduled events. In the mornings you will receive an email or SMS with a link to a short video unpacking one success principle and outlining one task for you to complete throughout the day as you go about your normal activities. At the end of each day, you record a short video reflecting on what you did and what you achieved and learned. These videos are shared in a very active Slack channel where the cohort connects with each other’s journey and can encourage and learn from each other.
To achieve real outcomes you need to commit at least 60 minutes each week, however many participants choose to spend more time once they’ve realised the value of the program. Although the investment of time is small, you may find certain topics to be intensive as they may challenge your existing habits, beliefs, or ways of thinking.

Finishwell’s LifeGroups (Potential and Transformation Arena) is the brainchild of Mark Drager and Mal Flowers, birthed out of a heart to bring transformational coaching to people who otherwise may not have the time or space to sit down for one-on-one coaching. New online collaboration tools allow mindset coaching to be delivered with just 15 minutes of time commitment each day from the participant. A byproduct of these small online coaching groups is lasting connections with other like-minded business builders. Connected community is the heart of LifeGroups.
